PURIM - This year we will celebrate Purim on the weekend of March 18-20. We will be joined by Cindy Paley, a well known Jewish musician from Los Angeles, who will teach us some new music at Shabbat Services on Friday evening at 7 pm. On Saturday night, again at 7 pm, we will celebrate Purim by reading the Megillah and then Cindy Paley will treat us to a fabulous concert. w and who will treat us to a concert. On Sunday morning, Cindy will present a special Purim program to the children of our Religious School. Everyone is invited! And don't forget, it is most appropriate to come in costume.

 

 

PASSOVER - From April 18-25, Jews all over the world will celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Congregation B'nai Israel will once again hold its Community Passover Seder on Tuesday, April 19th. Rabbi Jordan will lead the seder beginning at 5:30 pm. The seder is open to non-Temple members. To make reservations, please call the Temple office at (225) 343-0111 ext. 200
